Poetry Northwest: Anxiety Folio
Volume XV | Issue 1 | Summer & Fall 2020
These works were created specifically for this edition on the theme of Anxiety, many inspired by the poems included in this edition.
All titles are drawn from work in the folio and when read one after another, they make a poem of their own: a cento.
From the Editors:
“We’ve gathered at the center of this issue a folio of poems in conversation with anxiety. We’d never have imagined, when this idea was conceived more than a year ago, this living moment. But it isn’t anxiety that I want you to carry with you into these pages, or to leave with. It’s a sense of poetry’s making us conscious. Of being about to feel, of having felt, of having been instructed and offered joy.”
